Since this is a short week, please remember that we will not have a pretest on Thursday. All spelling homework is due on Friday.
Because it is going to be a short week, I did not send home a reading log. I will get it home eventually. Please keep in mind that as long as it doesn’t go home you have one less item to sign and look after.

Here we are starting our third week. The students are doing a great job at following our procedure and obeying the classroom rules. They are really a great bunch of children.
Please remind your child that we have library tomorrow and he/she needs to bring in his/her book.

As I began to list my spelling and vocabulary words for next week, I noticed that cut and paste had done me in. You will see that the words on the newsletter and the words on the website are not the same. Please use the website words for homework. Those are the words the students will be writing in their planners on Monday. Sorry for any inconvenience. Have a great weekend and see everyone

I forgot to have the children note in their planners that we are scheduled to have PE tomorrow. Please dress your child for PE if possible. There are still changes being made and I’m not sure our specials are set in stone. When they are, I will let you know. More than likely, I will have it by the time I write my newsletter on Thursday night.

Although I stated that a reading log would be sent home, the children have another week of not keeping a log. I know they will be reading by the homework I will be assigning.
Please continue to check their planners and make sure all work is being done. I will post the homework on the Homework website area for a while.
Please initial the behavior chart and make sure your child puts his/her name on it. The behavior chart must be returned each day.
